Looking back now, was that result a blessing in disguise?

No cup run to tire the players and losing at home to Oxford just days after winning at Brammall Lane may have been just the wake up call needed so the players didn't think they'd walk this league?

Looking back at the team we put out in the Oxford game, you realise how fortunate we have been to have our strongest team available in pretty much every game. 5 of the players in that side have hardly featured this season and most of them have been out on loan.

I've just said the same on another thread & also thrown in the Colchester away game where I felt in the first half there was an element of players taking the opposition for granted. Look at the reaction Cotts got from the players after HT in that game, won the second half 2-0, won the next 5 straight & 15 unbeaten :)
