PHILINFRANCE
Apparently no interest from you in this match, but Rachel Priest, Western Storm's opening 'batter', has just scored an excilerating 50 and this match is becoming really exciting. Just like the football, the standard is not as high as the men, but it was most certainly a very exciting semi-final. 62 needed from 67 with only 2 down, looking OK

Some rank bad bowling in the over that got her there!

PHILINFRANCE
This Rachel Priest is like a female Ian Blackwell - absolutely fantastic! Although now caught - probably distracted by the fiasco concerning a runner for Taylor!
Lanterne Rouge
The result makes it look a lot easier than it was. Well done girls. I really like that Sophie Luff. Low centre of gravity and can really hit a ball hard. Bit Allan Lamb -esque in a way! Taunton girl too! The atmosphere is usually good but it's the best I can remember this year. Place is rocking Having the home team in the final helps, plus it's not too far away for Notts fans to travel either. Lrrr
Had the deal with Edgbaston changed? I thought they got finals day every year (for a few years) as they gave up getting certain international games. Noticed they've got 2 next year as well as finals day. Lrrr
Same strip that was used for finals day so roughly 60 overs already played on it, turning a lot on day 1, potentially promising with Leach and Bess with us batting first. Was a big move to make at 19 As I understand things, he was promised First XI cricket, but was replaced by Steve Davies when he failed to produce the runs. A shame, really, as he is certainly a topclass wicketkeeper - a victim of the current requirement for run scoring keepers whose ability to score runs outweighs their pure wicketkeeping abilities. Super
lead of 276 now another hundred quickly then declare?
Lrrr
Given the table Somerset need to start being brave so I'd agree, maybe at most a quickish 125 to push it to 400 but a declaration can't be far off, before tea for sure. Yorkshire looks like they're heading for a draw so we need to start bettering their results.
PHILINFRANCE
Unfortunately, judging by the way Tresco and Hildreth are batting this morning - have a look at Warwicks' live stream - the wicket seems to have improved. Or, heaven forbid, Somerset's batting has improved?
