Just Back From The Game

Some just don't get it monkeh . ...The sanitisation of the game, the all ticket restrictions, the kettling in pubs, police escorts , bubble games, the list of restrictions go on ...ask yourselves why ?

can't say they are supporting, the behaviour is counter productive to what actual supporters are trying to achieve, (safe standing, unreserved tickets, top facilities etc)..

Incorrect. Its people that sensationalise small isolated incidents that are counter productive. Once again, a few small problems at a game and posters are making out there was some kind of riot. Its so dull.

The problem is if you don't condem the small incidents they lead to bigger ones and then we are back in the 80's again

There is absolutely no excuse to go out to the pitch in a preseason or any game (other then the end of the season I have no problem with that)

For a start its illegal and can and prob will lead to banning orders

But going on the pitch at the end of the season is also illegal? How does that make it okay? As you do that then? 1 or 2 went a step too far but all in all it was mostly some lads having a bit of fun on their holidays.

The over reaction of this site is quite frankly pathetic. It's time and time again. Each and every thread either decsends into petty rows with full grown blokes or the 'oh so funny' puns being used over and over.

  Ugh, exactly the kind of hysteria I was talking about.  I hope the Evening Post don't read this thread, I can see the headlines already.

It is illegal yes but it's the one time most authorities within the game overlook it, that's why I don't have a problem with it,

If he fa started to clamp down on it and started to fine clubs then it would be different,

As you said some went to fair but the problem is that number will increase and then it just gets worse and worse then the club get dragged up to the authorities and get fined, warn it keeps happen because "it's only a bit of fun and no harm is done" and before you know it we are deducted points and having to play behind closed doors,

Sorry there is no excuse for it in a preseason friendly

........ As I said couple of classic funny moments but the 'hero' who ran on to assault their left back after a foul on Joey would have caused you to 'over react' too.

Fortunately he didn't make it to the player. One of our players stopped him in time.

Just curious how you knew he was going to "assault" this player? Very sensationalised phrasing !

Not sure why you keep referencing the Villa game - as mentioned above the fans of both clubs have been together whilst over there.

So as its over looked and you do it, that makes it fine does it? Right.

The FA already clamp down on it. A quick google search will confirm that. You must be on a wind up. Your total over reaction is laughable.

Go get some air or find some friends to socialise with perhaps?

How about the theft of the corner flag? How are we defending that one? Just "banter"?

Just curious but where has this come from?

Did someone take it out of the ground, or did someone actually walk away from the stadium with it?

Just curious if, as a moderator, you find running onto the pitch towards one of the opposition's players acceptable behaviour (however it may be described)?

 This comment made me want to hurl myself head first out the office window.  He didn't even suggest that really did he?

The point remains that this has already been blown way out or proportion. Case close, move on please.

Are you for real or trying to wind people up?!?

Show me where I said it was acceptable !!

YOU are the one who made the brash statement, which clearly you couldn't back up!

PS A moderator, we moderate this site, 'we' do have our own opinions like everyone else so no idea what your point was

Why else would he run on the pitch? It is an offence to do that any road, OK he might have jumped the gun with the assault comment but perhaps you might at least see what the comment was meant to portray.

OK - so just to be clear you are saying that every time someone runs onto a sporting field their intentions are to "assault" someone?

No comment has been made about whether it is an offence or not

Otib sticking up for yobbish behaviour again shocker! The same old sad faces that would jump on the band wagon had it been gas fans shocker!

Sticking up for yobish behaviour or looking at the situation with some common sense and perspective?

It is the people whipping up hysteria by using words like 'Yobs' and 'Assault' who are out of order here.
