Sniper
Ok I know he's officially retired, but if we do get in the brown stuff with injury's and we're still struggling to recruit can we use him or not?
TheCulturalBomb
Might take a few cans of WD40 but I suppose in theory he could, but it wouldn't happen.
Steve Watts
Yes. We'd have to register him on the playing staff, but essentially from a players registration side of things he's unattached, so we can "sign him" at any time.
Andy Horsman
Not sure, depends on whether he is still registered as a player! His playing contract expired and he is employed in a different capacity, but City may have held on to his registration. Looked in fine fettle when he played the second half in defence against Taunton on Tuesday, but the Championship and Southern League opposition are obviously gulfs apart!! wheatus59
He looks naturally fit , would be good to register him .
Big C
Might as well get Scotty Murray registered whilst we are at it
Lrrr
Must be the reason Cotts hasn't got more people in, he's planning on putting himself on the bench this season.
Superjack
Given that he wasn't offered a playing contract, would he want to?

Coxy27
This was posted before... redsquirrel
if he was offered an extra how ever many grand for a week in the squad, he'd be daft to turn it down. never going to lose his legs in the time he has been out so bring him on i reckon. no harm done even if he can't do 90 mins
Sydneybcfc
I'm sure they could easily work out a pay as you play deal, scholes retired and came back mid season from memory? So I guess it can't be that hard. He's obviously still fit playing with the u21s in the week and maybe he's still registered.
LocoPal
This could be the ultimate of come-backs ever in the history of come-backs ever .. and as things stand .. (OK... Overstating things mildly) yep . wade would be a great option off the bench... an experienced player to help us through these first few months on the field and off the bench too ... cottsciderarmy
Given he has played for the under 21's pre season, I would imagine he is already registered in some capacity no ?
