Lack of Action Man
Tbf I'd be quite happy to pop down to the sports bar at ashton gate for this. Reckon it'll do a bomb for trade whenever we're on telly.

Phileas Fogg
Interesting - bet the police won't like this being midweek. Provided we're doing ok in the league we should still sell this out.

Kid in the Riot
Bonus away game live on telly - happy days. Will this be the sort of thing that we can expect to watch in the new Sports Bar on the world's biggest screen, I wonder. Hope so, be a great atmos down there if we can, surely it'll all be ready by then!? As it's on Sky then absolutely you'll be able to watch it in the Sports Bar. The license for showing away games not broadcast on TV is going to take a few months to arrive...perhaps looking at post-Xmas for that.

JoshuaJDavies
The date change is a bit of a shame but being on Sky is never a bad thing. Will be taking a half day at work and going down with a few lads still
123456789000
Sky have sorted me right out. Going on holiday from 17th - 24th October, due to miss Forest at home and Cardiff away until Sky had other ideas!

Admin phantom Posted August 27, 2015 Admin Report Share Posted August 27, 2015 Anybody think the Brighton game will get moved? want to book my train tickets before they become stupidly priced! Can't see why it would, not really a game for the neutral fan - but who knows with Sky !
Cider red
Perfect for me. Couldn't have made the 12pm ko but at least I can watch it now.
Lrrr
Just wondered with the two games around it now being moved (forest to Friday and now cardiff to Monday) but like you said I see no reason why it would be! Cardiff game now probably makes it less likely to be on tv, that and the Forest game are less than 2 weeks apart on Sky so 3 games in a month would be very strange. CribbsRed
Interestingly enough the Gas have Newport at home on the 24th. Perhaps this came into play when it was decided to move it to the Monday night?
Spoons
On a selfish note its good for me as couldn't have made the Saturday, but this shouldn't have been moved. It will now be played in front of a near empty ground with everyone watching at home/pub! Sad really would have been cracking atmosphere on the Saturday

Northern Red
Interesting - bet the police won't like this being midweek. They'll prefer it to a weekend IMO. A lot of people will have been at work, smaller attendance, smaller travelling support etc.

Rename that documentary from around 01' with a big old scrap at AG? That was a night game. Hope a good number still go across though.
Spoons
Although not a 'bubble' match lets see if we are made to collect tickets from services again prior to match. Think it will be very low attendance due to being on sky and being a Monday, also its half term. I'm looking forward to it though.
Spoons
Near empty, really? I don't think so.watched Cardiff on sky against wolves on Sunday last week. Ground was half full, Cardiff fans aren't happy with tan or slades style of play. I hope I'm wrong. But everything is against this being a sevenside derby being played in front of a decent crowd

ExiledBrizzle
So that's us not selling out our allocation then. Is this a joke?? If we don't sell out then that's terrible..biggest rivals and closest game in the league
Alex_BCFC
Serious question. Do you think there'll be trouble? I doubt it - despite it being a reduced attendance, there will still be a heavy police presence and I doubt there will be any trouble in or just outside the ground.
