FA Cup exits

22A

Recommended Posts

Our local teams in the Preliminary round of the FA Cup didn't do too well yesterday either.

Manor Farm 0 - Portchester 3,

Bodmin 2 - Almondsbury 0,

Brockenhurst 3 - Mangos 0.

Paulton Rovers managed to win 2-1 at Cinderford though.

Come January, will City be the only Bristol area team in round three?

OK, here's the local interest in the 2nd qualifying round.

Weston s Mare are away to Hook Norton, Paulton are home to Chesham or Aylesbury

Bath travel to Bodmin, Taunton home to Truro and Gloucester home to Kidlington.

Extra police needed I expect; Bath fans going to Bodmin might meet up with the Truro massive headed to Taunton. Meanwhile the WSM fans en route to Hooky could clash with all those Kidlington fans en route to Glos! :P

I've got this tradition where I pick at random a team with a stupid name in the extra preliminary round. I follow them until they are knocked out, then I support the team that knocks them out, followed by the team that knocks them out..... all the way to the final.

Kinda crazy but I've done it since I was young.

Shortwood United are my team at the moment! :D

Not sure that draw is correct 22A. I think that is last years draw as Paulton Rovers are definitely out.

You are correct. I downloaded what was on line at lunch time. This year's came out about 30 mins later. :grr:

The four local(ish) teams all get away draws.

18 Harlow Town v Bath City
24 Leiston v Gloucester City If Glos win, will they get Cheltenham or FGR in the final qualifying game?
30 Wingate & Finchley v Weston Super Mare
33 Margate v Taunton Town or Truro City

No exits this week. W-S-M, Gloucester & Chippenham all scored three goals and won away ties. Bath drew 2-2 at Poole.

Next round is the final qualifying round when the National League Prem teams (FGR & Cheltenham etc) join in.

I think you might find Bath drew 2-2 away to Harlow.

Didn't Larkhall also score 3 and qualify?
