Barrs Court Red
What's stopping the club separating out the academy into a separate entity, or would that go against the rules?
CotswoldRed
Very limited facilities last year. I'm sure our turnover this year will be up hugely on last year. Stay up, get that stand open and things should look very different soon.

The academy, players, coaching staff and BCFCs board and directors though I would assume is on our own payroll. I have no idea how this breaks down, but signing fees, and players like Jet and Cunningham would have been on a older pay scale and probably not cheap. I don't think many of the staff (for example David Lloyd) were TUPE over to BS until this summer.

cityexile
So our running costs last year of say £17m, was covered in rough terms by; Everything the club earned. £7m SL. £10m Blimey. And he was prepared to support some multi million pound bids, and fund a stadium new build on the side. Makes some good calls, some bad ones, but frankly a lot of what we all enjoyed last year was, um, down to him.

Chairman Mao
11000 last near, negligable hospitality, matchday revenues around £7m 15000 this year, more hospitality (say 45-50% increase) expect it to be around £10.25m next season with say 19500 in this league and all the corperate seats (80% increase on 14-15 with Boxes and corperate takings probably around the £2.5m mark, (1000 Corperate @ 80x23 = £1.84m plus boxes) should see revenues at the £15m mark or so, more than a doubling. Thats not counting additional revenue which will be a big earner. Still £10m is a huge huge bill and much more than I expected.

zippycar
If I'm reading it correctly, the total debt of the club, i.e. what SL has effectively pumped in, is £87,986,083!! Page 11 point 19 Profit and loss account. Even for a billionaire that is quite a sizeable chunk, especially when he was selling shares at £4.50 to fund the club. Up The City!
Yes I also saw the 87million figure and guess that's not including the stadium bill? Redtucks
I've never been able to make sense of many items in the accounts of many businesses but one thing caught my eye: Broadcasting revenue £60,000 compared to £82,000 in 2014. Only £60,000!!! How many times were we on TV last season, including the Paint Pot final? Seems like we're up on this already this season with last nights game alone being worth £72,000. (City’s Emirates FA Cup third round replay with West Bromwich Albion will be shown live by BT Sport. The match will be played on Tuesday, January 19th (7.45pm) at Ashton Gate. Both sides will bank £72,000 for TV coverage, whilst the winners will benefit from £67,500 prize money and a home tie with Sky Bet League One club Peterborough United in the fourth round)
