Blagdon Mike
This is a real tragedy and like everyone else on OTIB, I am stunned and saddened by the news. I send my heart-felt condolences to James' family and friends. I did not know James personally but am aware of his leading role as a City fan in for instance the 'Bring Back the Robin' campaign and cycling to Wembley for charity. Not long ago, James accompanied BCSCT's chair and vice-chair to a meeting with Andrew Billingham, CEO of Bristol Sport to pursue his aims. James' love of Bristol City and his efforts on behalf of fans have been unwavering and deserve our greatest appreciation. Let James' example be an inspiration to us who live and fight on. Admin phantom Posted February 26, 2016 Admin Report Share Posted February 26, 2016 I'm still numb this morning after first hearing the news last night, I shared plenty of great times with Grizz home and away over the years, he was always a friendly face that always had time for everyone. Will certainly be missed x As a 41 year old, I'm not ashamed to admit I've shed a few tears overnight, one of the best has gone too soon
Dollymarie
Was well aware of his "Bring back the robin" efforts, and had met him a few times. He only takes the good ones hey? Say hello to Bucksred up there for us please. Best seat in the house now, although I'm sure that's of no comfort to your family and friends.
