It will be Bolton, Charlton, MK Dons

Well, I don't know what Warnock has slipped in the drinks of his Rotherham players, but based on current form, they'll be fine.

We are capable of winning three and losing two on the bounce - so will still get enough points just about to stay up.

I would put my house on bottom 3 being Bolton, Charlton and MK Dons.

So even though it is dire to lose 2 games in a row, rest assured we will survive this season.

Even though we'll probably do it by the skin of our teeth....

You seriously are deluded! Looking at our fixtures I can't see where we will put a string of results together to keep us in the championship! I truly believe that a team who doesn't score enough will struggle what ever league you're in and this city side can't only score but they let in far too many goals. We are going to need 43 - 46 points to stay in this league and I can't see us getting 43.

Nice to hear some positivity……..instead of all the whinging fickle nonsense from the majority of forumites…….we win a game, and were going for a late push for playoff place……lose a game (or two) and we are all doomed and on our way to play the Gas in Div 1 next season!   I agree with you, Bolton, Charlton and MK Dons to go down.  Its been a dire season, but I'm certain LJ will recruit some quality for next season so we can establish ourselves in the Championship……... Rock On

I really hope you're right about us avoiding the bottom three. I'm desperately trying to cling on to any positives.

Exactly that, I've been on this forum for over 10 years and after every couple of defeats it's always an end of the world scenario.

The sooner this season ends the better for everybody.

The bottom three tonight will be the bottom three at the end of the season

Much much closer than it was, due to Rotherhams current form. If I had to beg it would be the three stated by the OP. Looks like one from four, but fancy Fulham will be ok.

They've only squeaked two games  its not like they are on a ten match  unbeaten run :fingerscrossed:

7/1 on Skybet, if you were really that convinced..

Its quite funny, i looked at the odds on Saturday morning before the Wolves game 25-1 and seriously thought about putting £50 on as a bit of a safety retainer but thought better of it as we were blatantly safe.........

how the odds can drop hey :(...

Our last ten games.

Hull, Derby, Sheff Wed we would be expected to lose, but you do never know.

The other seven, Fulham, Rotherham, Bolton, Brentford, Blackburn, Huddersfield, QPR. No gimmies at this stage, but not the worst run in by any means.

Yep, only 4 of our remaining games are against teams currently in the top half of the Championship. It's a gutter to lose 6 of the 8 points safety gap we had but with Bolton and Rotherham still to play at home it's still very much in our hands.

Just to cheer everyone up (hopefully!), MK play Hull followed by Brighton next. Happy Easter?!

Looking at the remaining fixtures we have the easier run in of all the teams around the bottom.

A quick view on how many are winnable (not how many they will win),  IMHO gave me

City.         9

Rotherham 7

Fulham.   6

MK Dons. 6

Bolton.    5

Charlton.  4

These include me assuming we could beat Rotherham, and they could beat us, so the actual wins will vary.

Using my completely unscientific method we will survive (I hope!)

Not only that but the last seven games played give us points tally of

City 12/21

Rotherham 10/21

MK 9/21

Fulham 8/21

Bolton 5/21

Charlton 5/21

The last 6 games give us

Bolton 2/18

Charlton 5/18

Fulham 5/18

MK 8/18

City 9/18

Rotherham 10/18

Fulham look like the club to target.

Hope you are right, but accounts of last night's dismal performance from those that saw it, and the labored, uninspiring performance against Cardiff, have me seriously worrying it could be us, Charlton & Bolton to go. Having such a poor GD does not help either.

Rotherham have just beaten Boro and Wednesday. We beat Boro twice.

What does that tell you about the value of identifying "winnable" fixtures?

Just my opinion and there are always surprises, which is why I don't bet.

If I remember I'll drag this back up at the end of the season, For my own interest.
