Anyone else collecting?

Thought I'd have a bit of fun and collect the stickers for the Euro 2016 book.

It has now become a serious part of my life and have about 85 remaining NEEDS.

Anyone else collecting and have many swaps?

I probably have 150-200+ swaps, not counted them. Don't know if I want to either.

Have you still got it?

Seen them go for well over 5 Grand...although prices have dropped in recent years.

Had a full set of the 70 World Cup Coins of England Squad and a cardboard display folder

**** knows what I did with them

Free coin with every 5 gallons from one of the petrol companies

Anyone else remember them ?

Indeed, I do, and I still have mine somewhere.

Little 'silver' coins.

Are they actually worth anything?

Yes...I remember and have them, plus other Esso collections...my favourite being the football badges of all the Clubs in a big gatefold sleeve.

Remember my Dad pulling up for Petrol and getting the coins.

Blimey Spud I'd forgotten about them ! happy memories - thanks

Arnt they in embossed style (the badges) ?

On a different track (excuse the pun) but anyone interested in Scalextric ( @spudski ?)

Have a load of late 60s / early 70s tracks, cars , stands, refreshment huts etc etc that I need to find a good home for at some stage

I do know a collector mate...and he's buying up loads at the moment. Especially from that era...not track, cars and accessories.

However...he's as mad as a box of frogs, and I'm not sure I'd want to 'Introduce' him for fear of letting you down.

Ebay and Auction are your best bet...plus Scalextric is making top dollar at the moment.

As for the football badges...yes...they are gorgeous works of art...you can also pick up on ebay for around £30.

A friend of mine gets given every Panini album and a big box of stickers every time there is a new release.

He gets them via a friend who works in football.

He's been told it's fixed by Panini, as they never release every sticker.

They might drop a few in to make people think they are in circulation, but never enough for everyone.

They cost a fortune to complete.

For investment purposes...never fill the book in, and leave stickers in packets.

For fun...spend, spend, spend :-)

I got the digital one a few years ago, need more track but that's pretty good, being able to change lanes adds a new dynamic
