Be interesting to see how he goes.

Mixed emotions - we don't know the terms of the extra payments due but presumably if he plays well and regularly - more of chance of seeing them !

I suppose we want to see him do ok but Villa ultimately not ??

The best thing for City is for Villa to finish second, behind us and Kodjia to score a bag full of goals.

A bagfull that's contains a couple less than our strikers.

I'd be delighted with that, when we receive our extra £4million.

Ideally he does well enough to then also earn a £50million transfer to man city!

Who cares.

You? Based on the title the content was fairly obvious. Or was it really to add that comment?

Apologies for adding this thread - I thought this was a football forum and ex-players was a topic some may want to chat about.

Wow it's like chatting to Shakespeare - how do you do it?

Anyway back to interesting things - nearly an assist just now with a shot-come-cross and involved in another chance.

Certainly the team player thus far we have rarely seen !!

Shall we leave it here, wouldn't want to derail the thread.

Enjoy the footie.

Geez, what's your problem?

I'm sure there are plenty of people interested in Kodjia's debut.

Anyway... Villa look very strong on paper, can see them being a force when the team starts to gel.

Their build up play is too slow and too precise at the moment imo, very predictable for the opposition. With Kodjia's pace they may have to change the way they play, little balls in to his feet won't work as he's not that sort of striker.

I agree.

Can't see di Matteo lasting too long if he doesn't get them clicking soon.
