GJ to LJ

Maybe when we have a good manager doing such a good job, such as GJ and SC were, that's when we should take a gamble with a few decent signings     and not when the tide turns?

One or two better players would probably have seen us reach the Premiership and the Golden Pot that goes with it.

Anyway, back tothe original post:  "In March 2010 GJ left the club "by mutual consent" with City 15th in the Championship table. 6 years and 6 managers later we lie 15th in the Championship table."

If we lose tomorrow, we'll be in a lower position than when Dad was sacked, yet the son is being treated like the Messiah by the board.

Not comparable. By that point in 2010 it had gone stale and there were clearly deep problems at the club. LJ, by comparison, hasn't even been here a year and we've largely done pretty well under him.

It's a totally different situation and set of circumstances.

I take your point, but if you had to answer the question 'Who is the better manager?' who would you choose?

I think the OP is suggesting that sticking with GJ may well have been a better option.
