SL, MA and the Son of the Conference Manager

Forget the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. This one would be a best seller.

Bob Hoskins stars as the Bristol City manager from 2005, the story focusses on his desperation to play his son (played by Jack Whitehall). It comes to a Wembley final and one of his key full backs is injured. In a desperate need to play his son he sacrifices the teams biggest threat from midfield and slots him to right back.......

The story focuses on one man's obsession with this footballing family. Close friends they are. The Son of the Conference Manager is jeered throughout his time as a player....but returns one day as a messiah. He walks on water. He casts a spell over the entire fan base and the board. Despite losing 8 games from 11 and spending millions in the transfer market (higher than most clubs) he receives a new contract. A job for life. But as we approach Christmas 2016...the spell begins to break and the fans start to wake from their deep sleep.....noises begin to stir and the honeymoon is over.......as the fans come to their senses, they remember the boos from years before and the square pegs in round holes tactics from the father. Something needs to change......

Unfortunately the great Bob Hoskins died in 2014.

High horse?

I think you're in the minority there Antman.

Check out how many notifications Graham has on his post already

that was kind of not the point RR - it was more about some silliness being frowned upon by a self appointed forum warden - why exactly?

don't like it? why not just move on by, instead of a tedious attempt at a slap down.

**** me, life is dull enough without people doing that.

This forum takes itself waay too seriously at times
