A doctor or a nurse would "diagnose" the problem. It then becomes a "diagnosis"...........it's simple semantics.

And denying your forum username is simple what?

I have no idea what you are talking about. This makes zero sense. The NHS refer to "self diagnose". Your mention of doctors or nurses is nothing but a distraction.

Let me explain - if you have a runny nose and watery eyes you would self diagnose that you had a cold and you would know what to do and what medication to use. You know that you will recover in a few days.

Therefore no need to visit your GP or a hospital and waste the NHS time and money. That's what "self diagnose" means in NHS terms.

Is this clearer for you?

I thought this was your worrd of expertise?

you can have diagnosis  after you had been diagnosed, but you can also have diagnose. Very worrying...  Are you sure you were an expert in your field?
