Fiale
He looked the best player on the pitch today. His heading, ball at feet, passing and willingness to run forward into space was great to see. Just wish he was in the CM role, maybe he could teach Korey and Pack a little about dictate playing and getting forward from a CM / DM position. JoeAman08
Little or Hegeler. Both a class above today. Hegeler needed to be sitting in front of Flint and Wright today. Can tell he can dictate tempo. He can drive us forward single handedly on the ball as well.

Unan
Little? He had one cross in to the box today. Got all the way to their touch line yes, no end product though.

Way above any other player we have and a steal.a penny for his deepest thoughts tonight.

Agree 100%, hopefully Magnusson's return will see him used further forward and Bailey Wright not played out of position..
David Brent
The best of the debutants, looked very good. Could imagine him playing RB in a back four.
Shuffle
Only highlight for me and has great pace and touch and a steal at £300k. As Graham said with Hordor back hopefully next week it will be wright/Flint/hordor and Hegeler and Brownhill in front of them.
bearded_red
Actually wanted to move the ball quickly and take as few touches as possible, stuck out like a sore thumb compared the rest of the ponderous rubbish. Hope he plays in midfield sooner rather than later. Looked a class apart.

So true, little is so predictable, head down and run, ok it works sometimes but gets caught out of postition and wrong side so often and his end product is awful. League 1 player at best. we need a rb who can get up and back and not lose his position and able to play a simple ball and move, plus take ball to goal line and cross. collier
He played well today but lets wait until he plays a championship side who actually try and attack. Today was the perfect opponent for him to stand out and not having to worry about any actual defending or any sort of pressure put on his passing. If he plays like that in the league, we have ourselves a very good player.
DevonRed794
Strong enough in the defence and comfortable on the ball, albeit against a good League One side. Think he'll fit in very well in the defensive midfield role, couple of runs forward too, looks a good acquisition.

Absolute quality and if this guy only cost is £300K then got to be the best bit of business I have seen for a long time. Stick this guy in front of the back 3 or what ever and he would run the game. Period. Unless he is played right side of defence. Pray no coach. The Germans say he is an outstanding midfield player when you do a bit of digging. At least saturday he will play in front of a proper crowd instead of the mortuary of a stadium today, but fair do with 10K gate after what we have endured. redsince1994
Thought it was a really classy performance. We'll soon knock that out of him.
EnclosureSurge
Class. Absolute class. I could tell that from the way he ran out. A proper footballer with real class. Or klass, maybe. But definitely classy. Deserved each applause for every touch/pass/header he executed. He'll be alright!
Red-Robbo
Have to agree re: Hegeler. Assured in defensive and looks great going forward. Runs with a huge stride that seems to get him up the pitch very quickly. Agree also that I'd like to see him in a holding midfield role. Before I heard the team sheet, I assumed that was what he'd be playing today.
