Blimey - the half time snacks have changed somewhat...does anyone know if that's Adam Matthews' handwriting?

@AdamB said it was one of the few things that made it over from the old dressing room. Scotty had clearly been told to ensure its safe arrival.

Don't like it personally ( Not that matters one jot because I certainly won't be using the facilities !)

all looks a bit dark, cold and clinical for me

Looks like one of those depressing convention centres a lot of us have had to spend time in.  Hardly motivating and instilling a sense of history is it?

That's a good comparison for me

Assume the players and staff had a say so they must approve

it doesn't shout out 'This is Bristol City' does it

Because of the eggg chasers I guess

I'd say it's very Wembley but nicer. Top quality throughout the stadium, how can you not want to come and play here, ah yes the all important league position, which it's what it's all about at the end of the day.

Those baths look a tad narrow for most of the rugby blokes mind you!

The pictures taken with the place empty and with no natural light don't show the place at its best.

Often new places need time to create their own 'history' otherwise it feels fabricated.

Not sure what people expect, perhaps they have an example of what they do expect? A comparison maybe?

For me, it's a hundred times better than what was there before, state of the art and what any aspiring modern football club would want.

I bet they're not allowed blu tack to put up posters on match day either, makes a right mess of the paintwork.

Pictures of our greats interspersed with the rugby lots wouldn't bother me,  just something!

The modern world where everything loses its personality sadly - Change the photos and it could be Hull , Port Vales or Chelseas dressing room IMHO

(Accept that the all mod cons can / should only be a positive)

Im so thankful we didn't get planning permission for the village green - at least the stadium still has a uniqueness about it and still retains the same roots - If you blanked the players - watch a game on TV now and it's wouldn't be obvious who was playing and where

Thought you'd like that one!

I do find it a tad sad that our dressing room isn't a blaze of red and white, some nice red leather seats

Keep the away dressing room grey and black

I fully accept that with SL comes Bristol Sport

Its just a shame, think we lose a chunk of identity if I'm honest

I'd like to say 'times move on' but looking at the league table suggests otherwise.

I took the photo after I'd laid us out 4-4-2 :D

Dare I say it, maybe you need to apply for an assistant coach role at City ;)

As to the photos, typical of any new abode. Give it a little bit of time and I'd expect it to look like a home.

I know what you mean. Sometimes when they film tv dramas in football grounds I like to try to guess the ground, they are pretending it's some made up place but you could tell it was Upton Park or somewhere instantly. Now it's much harder as they do all look similarish.

Difficult to tell from a photo but , is it just me , or do these seats , cushions , hinges and general build suggest that they might not last a long season of frustrated footballers and rugby players

Im sure they are not , but they look as if they've been built with MDF !!

So who will be the first player to mistake that for a toilet!

Nope the build quality on them is pretty decent I'd say. The lids are heavy and they have those hinges that mean they soft close. As in you can't bang them up and down.

And that's what's wrong with this club, too soft!

I reckon Hunter might have been able to break the hinges with just a look though...

Seriously, thanks for the pics though very interesting.

What's the demographic of the FAN committee please ?

I'm the only girl. There's 20 or so of us. Maybe two or three of my age group. Most are older (40's upwards)

There are reps from the SC&T, the disabled fans (three of those) the senior reds (two of those) and then a collection of other fans who put themselves forwards. There are elections in the close season if anyone else wishes to stand.

As you know, I'm all for LJ staying, I like him...However I'm really surprised someone hasn't photo shopped LJ jumping out of that seat, with a headline 'Joke in a box' ;-)

Lovely pics Dolly...thanks for sharing :-)

I'm 38, and not the only bloke...

And yes, we need more women to attend.

I'm not actually officially a member. I'm down as "guest" and have attended the last three meetings.

Great photos, Dolly. Was a real privilege being shown around. And Adam Baker's such a nice bloke.

If these are some more of the "players for the future" we've signed then God help us!

Is that Rob Palmer three from left @BS4 on Tour...? Scored some amazing goals when we payed Sunday football with him....also some amazing shots off his left shin too that ended up anywhere but near the goal :P

when I saw the pic I was going to comment that it must have been precious as it had old sellotape marks on it. Maybe someone could you know, just put the actual take away menu up, then they could actually see the options as well (I was going to say price... but then remembered the people we are talking about).

I'd have had me shoes and socks off and would have had a paddle in there...

These boys have no taste. Pimms Pizza on North St is so much better.

Look @Mkelly! The SAG of Wembley allow them little shelves for body wash bottles etc! Why can't we?

Facilities look great. Why couldn't the same attention to detail have gone into design of the club shop though? It's really small, packed with rugby stuff and not a patch on Reading's club shop.

I wouldn't know. Steer well clear of that travesty on match days. Don't need any Bristol Sport branded tat for me or the kids.
