BRISTOL86
Focussing on the positives tonight. A very good point despite the lead. Considerably better sides than us have been thumped there this season. Well done City. 2 Quote Link to comment

Is that really the best you can do? Well I wonder whether Cardiff would have let a 2 goal lead slip?. Game management is part of the and a part of the game we have been lacking in since Sheff Weds away. 3 Quote Link to comment
Gert Mare
In fairness nobody in their right mind would have expected us to get anything out of today's game. Well done lads and well done LJ. Credit where credit is due. Edited February 25, 2017 by Cheesleysmate 3 Quote Link to comment

Show Me The Money!
I'm still in the moving LJ camp bit you have to take your hats off for getting a point there despite losing another 2 nil lead. Well done LJ and the lads Quote Link to comment

Numero Uno
Yep, good point whatever the circumstances as Newcastle are streets ahead of us. Won't change my opinion of Johnson.....that was cemented watching abject defeats at home to Brentford, Preston, Cardiff, Reading and Fulham, losing at Wolves/Forest and surrendering that lead at Derby. Those are the games that see us where we are instead of being comfortable. 1 Quote Link to comment
Nogbad the Bad
Flint had a storming game, Rafa added to his list of admirers no doubt. 1 Quote Link to comment

Major Isewater
We need six wins to be safe . It appears that the lads are still playing for the coach ( or the new one ) Shame we didn't hang on but full credit to LJ and the boys for standing up to the League leaders in front of fifty odd thousand Geordies . Huge up to all the City fans who made the trip . 3 Quote Link to comment

Against derby i was angry with a point but im happy with that today even if we had a 2 goal lead. Lets hope LJ has found a group of players he can trust and stop chopping and changing every 5 mins. A good performace at villa and must win v burton and maybe he has a future here. He has to build on this though. Yes very different from the Derby game, but don't know about the future with LJ. Still not hopeful unless the Fulham game has made something click in his head about needing to send a team out with fire in their bellies and a never say die attitude. Otherwise I think we're ******. Red white and red
Decent point. No praise going to LJ as he showed how tactically naive he is again by changing formation so we concede. He has to go. 3 Quote Link to comment

The "game management" was in the first half energy and hussling, which helped us get 2 ahead. I think, in the circumstances, that is pretty good going for LJ, and to his credit. We need to see more of it, though, against the lesser sides, and then good things might happen more often 1 Quote Link to comment

Alessandro
Good point against the top team with plenty of premier league quality. Newcastle had won 11 of their 16 homes games this season, so that result will give the team plenty of confidence. Quote Link to comment

I'm happy with this result but it's another 2 goal lead given away and we need 3 point games, not 1 here and there. It would be a great result if the last 16 out of 17 hasn't been so poor.
