Towards the end of the game he walks onto the pitch towards Frankie. On there for about 20 seconds then wanders of to be escorted away by two Old Bill. Stewards did nowt and just watched !!! Now I could be wrong but surely they should've got him off ???

Stewards are told not to chase people and to wait until the pitch intruder has made their way off the pitch. Maybe @Mkelly can clarify why.

Well that's rediculous....what if he was carrying an offensive weapon oooerrrr ?? "Oh we will just wait till the Police arrive, ....oh dear he's just attacked our Keeper."

Time to recall the Bas Savage sniper.

That'll stop 'em!

I thought they didn't chase them as it has been proved they leave the pitch quicker if they aren't taunting the stewards etc and get less attention if there is no chase. I think there was a case, at another ground, where a steward either hurt himself or hurt the invader and a lot of health and safety stuff was involved and people sueing eachother.

This Is what I thought. Stewards only intervene/run on the pitch if the invader is casuing harm to either themselves or others. Hence why if someone does a nudey run for example, the stewards will wait for them to come off.

When was the last time AG had an old fashioned nudey run? Not volunteering btw!

What would happen if this guy just took a slow walk around the pitch, took a couple of pictures, stopped for a chat with the QPR players, poured a cup of tea from a flask in the centre circle?  If you're going to be arrested anyway, might as well enjoy your time on the pitch!

Unless of course Flint came up to have a kind word ...

It was very surreal in a way. Seemed to be on the pitch for ages casual walks by towards Frankie. Then seemed to make a token effort to walk off the pitch as QPR went on the attack before the police then escorted him off.

Does make you wonder what would have happened had the ball stayed away from our end a bit longer

I think most kids present would be with a responsible adult so if someone did do a streak, the responsible adult would tell said children to avert their eyes.

I'm not condoning streaking either just for the record. Seen one, seen them all so to speak. Don't need to see it again.

Update (from someone with common sense) slap on wrist, as the police should have better things to do like solving real crimes such as murder, rape and child abuse I would hope...

"Would you like us to investigate the crime you are the victim of, or do you just need a crime reference number? "

" Investigate it please, ffs"

I'm not religious, but I'd just like to say 'God bless Erika Roe.'
