Yeah I know what you mean, like in football when we miss a sitter but then score a couple minutes later, that wouldn’t have been 2 goals. But as Nasser Hussein will tell you after watching Graeme Smith get a double century after dropping him for not many, we can guess what Steve Smith may have done but we know for sure exactly what Head has scored that he wouldn’t have if Bairstow had caught him.
