I thought I’d look up a pre season thread to see how accurate the six month old thoughts would be.

How things have changed. I’m not looking to criticise anyone who was worried, because football fans are naturally pessimistic.

However, even if we continue to struggle a bit in 2018, the fact that in July many saw a mid table finish as laughably optimistic shows how unpredictable football is.

I know some people hate old threads being revived, but I’m not point scoring, just revelling in the change of mood.
