Alex_BCFC
It's annoyingly and way too fast at start. Still, love that long throw.

Fiale
People can get so precious over things. Some people get enjoyment out of it, and it hurts no one, get over yourselves.
Lanterne Rouge
At least we only do it when our Icelandic player takes a throw not like every other team who do it when anyone with a remotely longish throw does. Anyway, Mags likes it so what`s the harm?
RedorDead BCFC
Not a fan of it, but noticed today, Magnússon claps the fans when they do it. So in fairness as much as it’s cringey to me it’s the player that likes it so carry on I say.

Every song we sing is way to fast , including “drink up the cider” ! Its not a competition to see who can sing the quickest. Perhaps we can get that Gareth bloke of the tele who teaches choirs to sing to give us s few lessons.

hantsred
I think you need a drum to be able to do it properly. Maybe Mags could come out after a game and run a clap workshop

Aaron-Bcfc
Some fans won't open their mouths to sing for the entirety of the 90 minutes, but get a throw in 40 yards out and they're all "Viking" clapping. Wrong uns
spudski
It's a simple act that can make all the difference to a young lad playing abroad. I'm sure Mags appreciate's it, every little helps. That's how I see it anyway.
Real Red
We do it far to fast, sometimes at the Boro game it had finished by the time he picked the ball up. There are long pauses between the claps if you watch it done by the Icelandics. Much more impactful

For it to work you need a leader who controls the tempo of it, like in this clip everyone goes off of the two bangs from the drummer. We just go by who ever claps next. Not a fan of it to be honest but that's mainly because we cant do it properly to save our lives. If we get someone leading it and making it work properly i might join in on it. wendyredredrobin
Every section of the crowd seems to join in. Hörður likes it and we need to do it slower. Alternatively scrub the affected parts twice daily and take a course of penicillin.
elhombrecito
Reckon we should get a video of Magners up on the big screen, leading the chant properly, every time we get a long throw.

Judging by how many do join in the ones criticizing it are clearly in a minority. I don`t much care one way or the other but if fans want to do it, let them.
