Derby v Sunderland

See, Derby are more of a counterattacking side than a possession.

When they are up against a defensive/counterattacking side at home- onus on them to take the game to the opposition- it can cause them difficulty. Could argue similar, albeit in a different context, about Boro at home to Wolves today...2 down but down to 10 and then 9 men.  Onus is more on them...they put pressure on, but enough for the draw. Not saying Derby wouldn't win because Sunderland are in dire straits, but something to consider for our trip to Boro perhaps.

Interesting stat on that note- Derby have the 5th best away record but only the 9th best at home this season.

Derby's annual implosion has been steadily gaining pace for a while...

Truth is, they're a bit overrated ..counterattacking side at home to a counterattacking/defenice side, can offer the advantage or a boost at least, to the away side.

The other thing to mention is that, on one hand we bemoan a draw at Barnsley- but yet this score if it stays similar, and Preston's thrashing at Sheff Wed shows just what this League is like. No divine right etc.
