I have a feeling Rowett will be gone if they don’t get play offs. It’s the Derby way...

4-1 doing there goal difference wonders

I did say the looming court cases have been rumbling in the background for sometime... Must be having an impact.

You would think the league positions are reversed. Sunderland look dangerous every time they go forward.

Much the same thing was posted on this forum earlier regarding Barnsley playing City!

Pretty sure someone posted on here that their signing of Cameron Jerome showed real ambition:clapping:

By the way, what an absolute fraud Richard Keogh is, looks like giving a goal away every single game & makes Forbes Phillipson-Masters look like he was Franz Beckenbauer..

If they play like this for the remainder they won't.

It makes you wonder why they haven`t up to now. As we all know, it`s so frustrating when you know your team can play so well but hardly ever bloody do!

Derby have been poor but take nothing away from Sunderland they have played very well.

Yep, another terrific contribution to the cause tonight - he`s really earned his 40k this week.

Last time we got in the play offs we did not play that well,. Indeed we were riding our luck most matches at the end of the season. But we got into the play offs. Played well v Crystal Palace, got into the final. Then got very close to beating Hull. So hang on to you hats, their is going to be joy and despair over the coming weeks.

The Derby cycle. Start a season poorly - Sack manager - Appoint new manager he has an outstanding middle third and puts them among the favourites to go up - Crumble in the last third - miss out on promotion/play offs - Sack Manager

The background stuff shouldn’t have much impact on the players as they probably don’t give a rats arse. The confidence is shot, they rushed every attack and looked full of mistakes at the back. They’ve got tricky games coming up as well. They will finish below us I’m sure of that!

Too many computer games and too cocky as well as too many managers and turnoil behind the scenes.

You have to say that when all's said and done, it's been a pretty good day for us. We gained a point on both teams above us, and only one of our six play off rivals won.

Everyone is quick to talk down our form, but of all the teams around us only Millwall are winning consistently - and there are two spots still up for grabs. Plenty of reasons to be positive.

Except we still have to play Millwall and Boro away and haven't played well away in the league since the turn of the year.

It's not other teams we should focus on - rather our own away form that gives every reason to be negative!

Or maybe, Derby just aren't that good, compared to their billing...

A lot of 'name' players (by which I mean at Championship level) will get you quite far but you need more to finish the job.

Boro and Villa finding similar ATM.
