I really can’t see this as an issue in any level of football - don’t we have Kalas and Da Silva, and most Championship sides have loan players from the Prem - it’s all part of player development as well has helping the receiving team to get promotion - hopefully! Torquay are one of the few full time clubs and before GJ came in, I was told yesterday that the team were only training for two hours a day under the previous management - now it’s full on. All the players - not just our loanees, are much fitter than most of their opponents, and it’s clear to see that GJ is tactically better than any other teams they have faced since he arrived. For once, the Torquay owner actually wants success so has invested appropriately without breaking the bank!
