Poor sod on the ground is getting destroyed by Pack and Diedhiou!  In real-time I bet it looks accidental, but the image in that picture looks truly vicious!

I love it!

Fammy's foot is already planted at this still frame, so at that moment he will be aware he's stepped on something and instinctively looked down, as one would when accidentally stepping in dogshit

Wayne Hennessy will tell you anything in a picture can look bad ;)

Was having a read of the same matchday thread.  A sequence of 3 (in 4 posts) on the penultimate page:

We're an off-form side 19th in the "December to now league" who faced a gelled, form side which sit 2nd in the "December to now league" and we lost by 1 goal. We were shit, but we were very much up against it too.

We only lost by 1 because the "in form" team squandered chances, and also Pantilimon had a positive and professional performance. There was a gulf as wide as the Trent between their attitude, work rate and cohesion and that of Forest.

Exactly, they were a class above the disheveled mess MON has inherited, so IMO 442's a red herring.

Looked it up and you're right- Maierhofer (remember him) went in goal last 10!

That Forest under Billy Davies, fairly dirty or at least niggly side. Loved it when we pipped them to promotion in 2007- Davies wasn't manager but bit of needle with Forest then.

Colin Calderwood was an total manual manipulator. 1-1 at ours in the promotion run in (Orr scored) was a great game and atmosphere. Lost 0-1 at theirs and a few of our louts smashed up a pub?

He was indeed and it was an excellent game at AG yeah.

We had a few intense (in a good way) games with them in that period, that edge always adds a bit to the atmosphere and occasion.

Fammy is spitting feathers at suggestions he's done something untoward!

Remember the "Calderwood can **** off" banner on North Street. Not what it was he said to piss us off though...
