That must be our record isn`t it? The biggest I`ve ever been part of at AG was the 38k(?) in THAT Liverpool game.

Been a few around that number, I remember a game against Southampton when I was a kid with my dad in the cup where 39,000 were in attendance. We won 1-0 and I think Terry Bush scored.

Just think once Ashton Gate, before the last war, had an attendance of over 43,000 against PNE

My first ever game at AG was against Southampton in the Cup in 1967 with over 38,000 in the crowd.

The Wolves fans were not the usual Wolves ,support'. A much more chilled support than normal who wanted to watch the football. Usually with Wolves there are a couple of hundred looking for a punch up.

Wolves sold out their allocation before getting to general sale, so all of their fans would have been away point members, of whatever system they use.

I expect that helps control people, when the club know the details of everyone who is in attendance.
