Been a few around that number, I remember a game against Southampton when I was a kid with my dad in the cup where 39,000 were in attendance. We won 1-0 and I think Terry Bush scored. sglosbcfc
The Wolves fans were not the usual Wolves ,support'. A much more chilled support than normal who wanted to watch the football. Usually with Wolves there are a couple of hundred looking for a punch up.

Wolves sold out their allocation before getting to general sale, so all of their fans would have been away point members, of whatever system they use. I expect that helps control people, when the club know the details of everyone who is in attendance.
