Because teams stop us getting the ball to him, for e him deep etc etc.  A simple game made difficult by an opposition ?

But I agree he does need to play, just don’t expect miracles every game

In a 4141, 4231 or even 343 Eliasson can have more freedom.

Millwall stopped Eliasson and Brownhill our 2 wingers as we had so little threat between their midfield and defence as we had no real number 10 coming deep and picking up the ball.

If we have more of a threat in other areas then they can't just concentrate on Eliasson

You’ve just answered it.  Can’t have it all!!!

He just doesn’t perform when he starts, he’s an impact player. Unless LJ can shape a game plan around him some how

Didn't he start against Huddersfield and Fulham? How many games has he actually started and been given a proper run in the side - in the last 12 months?

lucky. We should cash in on Eliasson in January. Can’t be trusted to play 90m and will quickly be found out as he’s totally one-footed.

WOW - JUST WOW

Nobody is saying it’s great are they...

And last time I checked Charlton are a championship side...

Their first team is but when you remove 11 first team squad players from a team that got promoted last season you are for all intents and purposes playing a league 1 side.

And yet again we were bloody awful in the first half as the tactics were wrong and again the personnel were wrong, but nobody can point that out without some sanctimonious ******* trying to give it the big'un because they think it makes them superior in some way if they just blindly think we have been good enough for the past 4 games.

He also started against Blackburn and Millwall. Boro as well back in the summer where he had a good game. He's a mercurial talent and slightly unpredictable. If a team has a plan and  a good fullback he's easily nullified. As he's performing very well in this subs role that's how I'd advocate using him.

Best player we’ve got by far, could do with a few more with his attitude and vision

You said this about Weimann and got 3 laughing emojis in return. Who was laughing in the 46th minute when he scored?
