Schoolboy. Mawson gives away a totally unnecessary free kick in a dangerous place and we are nowhere near defending the resulting kick, 0-1. Opening 20 minutes it’s been all Cardiff, they have already racked up lots of corners and set pieces.

I’m thinking that introducing two new players into a midfield with a 19 year old may be too much too soon. Should have introduced just one in such an important area of the field

Thought the goalscorer had his arms all over Mariappa. You could see Mariappa attempt to jump but not be able to get off the ground as the scorer was basically laying on him.
