It’s probably 30ft2 not 30m2 . That’ll be bigger than their newest tent .
Major Isewater
15 hours ago, wood_red said: Bristol Rovers are happy to announce that the club’s new pitchside big screen will be installed and operational in time for the club’s home game against Bradford City on Saturday, April 13th. The club purchased the new 30sqm screen in July last year from Stadia Solutions, a leading international sports and entertainment agency that specialises in fully managed technology and media platforms, with the aim of having the screen installed next to the Brunel sponsored South Stand by the end of 2018. Although the screen was delivered on time in October, due to its size a special bespoke support structure was required to attach the screen to the current steelworks at the stadium. Unfortunately, the unique nature of this structure led to various complications with Stadia Solutions’ sub-contractor, resulting in subsequent delays with installation. This issue has now been resolved, with Stadia Solutions apologising to fans for the inconvenience caused and compensating both the club and screen sponsor for the delay. Commercial Director, Tom Gorringe, stated, ‘As the fans are all very well aware, we have been waiting for a new big screen for quite some time now. I am happy and relieved, that a solution for the frame for the screen has finally been found and it will be installed in time for what is looking like a very exciting and crucial end to the season.’ The new screen will provide fans with an improved matchday experience by enabling the club to actively communicate, engage and share content with fans, in addition to increasing matchday revenues through sponsors and advertising. Tom, went on to say, ‘We’d like to thank supporters for their continued patience and we look forward to seeing you all at the Mem tomorrow for our match with Sunderland!’. Takes 6 weeks to install a frame?? Seriously "finally been found"?? Scrap yard? "exciting and crucial end to the season"? Possible relegation to the league above non-league - brilliant. Basically the screen is too wieldy for the stand . Bless them they just don’t give up do they ?

22A
This big screen TV; can it be seen from outside the ground? If so, more people avoiding admittance fee.
chinapig
So they're in a race against time to get their screen installed before Spurs open their new stadium. The only 2 clubs in the country making major stadium improvements lest we forget.

Actually it strikes me they could get one over on Spurs by erecting a cheese tent, Spurs having abandoned the plan they now claim they never had. I'm thinking out of date Dairylea triangles. That might be the official number of Sunderland fans but I know through a Sunderland fan I work with that the Mackems were buying tickets in the home end because of the paltry amount of tickets they were given. 22A
http://gaschat.co.uk/thread/13889/jester-official-sunderland-matchday-thread?page=10 Reality is striking. It feels already like we’re down so if we stay up that’s a positive otherwise we’ve got a good vote for next season. The game on Tuesday was a real battle and imo the players looked exhausted at the end - perhaps that is some of the reason for today? What is worrying is that we have Sat/Tues matches all through March so the players are going to be tested
