Mr Popodopolous
Newly promoted sides between them have (I think) lost just 1 in 13 so far.

The Bard
So, if we get any kind of win tomorrow we will move from 20th to 7th in the league...
Lanterne Rouge
We`re down to 20th but would go up to 7th with a win tomorrow. Mad league. Edited August 20, 2022 by Lanterne Rouge
BetterRedthanBlue
I've said it plenty of times before the championship is the best league in the world because anything can happen with the exception of us getting a penalty. A team will go unbeaten for 20+ games and then get thrashed 5-0 by the team bottom of the table with 2 wins all season. It's such a bonkers league I love it. spudski
If we were to beat Cardiff tomorrow by 2 goals... we'd go from 20th to 7th. Such a tight league.

petehinton
CraZy start. Everyone beating everyone. Russell Martin can’t be far off being favourite to be first sacking at this rate

Just 4 wins though. Plus 2 postponements between them thanks to Coventry. They are performing slightly above the average for a promoted side, and much better than promoted sides in the past two seasons. Bigger surprise imo is the struggles of the relegated PL sides. For sure and the two games postponed v Coventry skew it somewhat but their ppg ratio is fairly reasonable. Competitive in different ways to each other but seem to be competing well so far. Yes the relegated sides have started somewhat slow. Edited August 20, 2022 by Mr Popodopolous

Yes but we’d only have 7 points with a win Norwich have 8 points already so goal difference is a moot point isn’t it?
