Johnr1986
And some fans believe we are building something we look so poor . Quote Link to comment
Jerseybean
First half reflections A very poor half and a shocking start from us. We gave away a sloppy corner (with Wells ‘helping’ out the defence) after just three minutes and Trusty simply wanted the ball more, from the set piece, than our three defenders who were simply blown away by his header. Three minutes later Bents maked a vital save when one on one with Chong. Brum very much on the front foot and playing forwards quickly. In the opening phases they simply looked more up for it than us. On sixteen minutes one direct header (from Bents kick) let Hogan in and we managed to smoother his attempt on goal. We have looked fragmented throughout with no effective link up play. Atkinson attempted a few dribbles and through balls but they have come to nothing. On 21 minutes HNH summed it up with a hopeless lofted ball to nobody when on the edge of their box. Then on 24 minutes NW played a forward ball to JD in the attacking third and it ended up back with Bentley! We conceded another sloppy corner on 28 minutes, this time Bents punched the resulting kick clear. On 37 minutes we actually won a corner, which resulted in HNM passing back to Bents! They then got a carbon copy second on 43 minutes when again Trusty out-muscled our defence from a long, lofted set play. Hugely frustrating to watch, especially given our performances earlier this campaign. Nobody in a red shirt has offered anything of note. If there is any positive from that half it’s that we are only losing by two goals. NP will hopefully shake them up at half time and likely make changes. Robins TV will certainly have their work cut out when seeking any City highlights from that half. Although according to the stats we’ve had more of the ball we’ve registered no shots and just one corner. It has sadly looked very much like a City team from this time last year. Super
That was a disgrace. No effort or commitment. Embarrassing. 2 Quote Link to comment
Ivorguy
Looks at moment as tho we shall have 1 point out of 15 let’s hope for 100% improvement in second half Quote Link to comment
TooSpooky
Whilst I do agree this season is better than last, our defending really is embarrassing to watch. Hate the idea of having to go into games scoring 3 to have a chance of a win! Quote Link to comment
Lordofthebling
Looking a few divisions below this brum outfit. Bristol rugby found out last night, looks like it's back to what we all know for city too. 1 Quote Link to comment
Bris Red
Can’t defend but it’s not a new thing under Pearson, we have consistently been dreadful at the back since he has come in. Quote Link to comment

cityexile
Easy game for Birmingham so far, played entirely on their terms. Cancel us out, wait for set pieces, profit. We seem usable to change the shape of the game at all. Quote Link to comment
Gazred
What a miserable 45 that was. Utter crap. 1 Quote Link to comment
AirlieBeachRed
Scott and HNM will never work together. Am I the only one who thinks HNM could play for us for a decade and not score a goal? Quote Link to comment
Numero Uno
This is where Nige earns his money for me because putting in that 45 after 2K have paid their hard earned to come and watch you isn't acceptable. 5 Quote Link to comment
miketh2nd
Far too easy for Birmingham , they are getting a lot of joy down our flanks our wingbacks keep getting caught out. Even more annoying to concede 2 goals from set pieces. Midfield struggled and barely seen weimann effect the game and strikers have had no service. On a side note why is the pitch so slippery? If it's anything like his interviews it will be talking b*llocks and boring the arse out of the players.....he may have been good once but he is is utterly clueless now and we are suffering because if it. 1 Quote Link to comment
BCFCGav
Good half. Beautiful long balls in to touch, couple of really nice unnecessary off-sides and two more conceded from shit set pieces. Happy with that. Hold your heads high lads, doing the travelling support proud ️️️️ 1 Quote Link to comment

Fair play to them they're running their socks off and fighting for every ball but we have been woeful. Yep, all to a man have been shit, worst performance of the season by a long way. Hook Wells and Wiemann off and get Semenyo and Martin on, at least if we are going to go long there is someone that can hold it. HNM off and Klose on at CB pushing King into midfield. maxjak
Sad and predictable.............I just feel sorry for our wonderful away support..........they deserve better than having to watch this nonsense One step forward, and then two backwards? Quote Link to comment

Gotta be honest and I've said it a number of times the sooner HNM finds a club that suits his style of play the better because that club ain't us. When is the kid going to score or even assist because he's had over 100 goes at it for us, certainly hasn't scored and has barely registered an assist. That isn't a midfield player for me. 3 1 Quote Link to comment

robinforlife2
4pts above the drop zone on live standings. Got a feeling that on this run, one of the two managers in charge going into the West Brom game, may not be in charge after it. Quote Link to comment
