Frenchay Red
Rubbish today, but 3 points from 2 tough away games is ok. But we didn't really trouble Reading Quote Link to comment

Just no energy, pace or desire it seemed today. Well beaten. This stick with a winning side theory is out-dated. We can't maintain the energy levels - Nige needs to freshen it up but he's too set in his ways. Quote Link to comment
Gazred
Well that's a fair result. We offered nothing in the final third despite plenty of the ball. As for our crossing and set pieces, we continue to be piss poor. It should be an important part of our game at this level where chances can be few, today a prime example. Quote Link to comment

Fordy62
People need to understand that when you’re shit and you’re turning things round, everything doesn’t happen at once. Things take time. We’re inconsistent but we’re a damn sight better than last season. Our trend is upwards. We can’t be world beaters every week. 7 Quote Link to comment
One Team
Two poor teams today, Reading out doing us thanks to poor defending again, although I think we have the attacking set up wrong. We have looked our best with Wells and Conway up front and Semenyo coming on later, we need to revert to this. Edited October 22, 2022 by One Team Quote Link to comment

I think we just have to accept we are just a lower mid-table outfit at this level. Yeah can’t agree with that. Think we will finish about 14th this season, which considering how average our players and manager is….will be about right Quote Link to comment
Mihai
Thank god ! I don't know why I didn't close the tv at half time... Guys we don't have to watch game like this ? I love this team as a team but if the game is shit.. nobody forces us to watch. This is what I learned today. Hope for some better football in the future so we can stay in this league. I feel bad that i chose to watch this game instead of a walk or something but..is my fault. NP is kinda outdated he is one of the worst managers when it comes to substitutions... he has no idea who to bring on. 1 Quote Link to comment

WessexPest
24-carat pile of w**k, that. Klose bullied off the ball with embarrassing ease for their killer second. Another inept piece of defending from a set piece and at the other end any corner or set piece predictably comes to absolutely nothing. Giving away possession cheaply in a dangerous area costs us again. Reading’s confidence should have been on the floor after midweek but they dealt with us easily. Utter elephant dung. Major Isewater
I actually thought we bossed the game before their goal after which they stepped up a level and started winning the second balls. I just wonder why all our forwards seem out of sorts all at the same time. Oh well this is the Championship. Quote Link to comment

Mr Popodopolous
Was there any sort of foul potentially in the build-up to the Reading 2nd or just fair physicality. Not that we deserved anything anyway tbh. Reasonably okay in possession, no shots on target yeah a loss was fair. We remain a work in progress. Quote Link to comment

Northern Red
Evidently what was needed was for everyone to moan about the team selection before the match. It had the desired effect the other night. 1 Quote Link to comment
