Everything positive has gone through him pretty much. He's just wasted on that right wing.

We need to take the game by the scruff of the neck and put Wales on the back foot. Easier said than done when the opposition is sticking ten men behind the ball and showing zero ambition. As the game goes on, we’ll have more chances because Wales will have to open up a bit.

They are playing exactly how you'd expect them to play. They've done well. Limited England to very few chances. They could potentially only need 1 goal to stay in the tournament. 2015
It's poor but the Southgate lovers will be smug at us finishing top of the Group currently.

BanburyRed
Wales playing with 9, Bale and Ramsey anonymous, end of their careers. England much the better team, but simply have to play faster.
Ivorguy
Watching England is a bit like watching City. One good result and we all think the team are world beaters, promotion guaranteed. Then a draw in a game we should have won, and we all make excuses - grass too long, Wrong players selected. Then third game and we are back to worrying about relegation.

Anything could happen in second half. Red card for England. Quick counter from Wales. If I was Welsh I'd be delighted with that and half fancy our chances of nicking the win. cityexile
Self evidently the better side, but created no more than three or four half chances. As the last moment showed, can be entirely on top but if don’t score they can nick one. I am sure Southgate is delighted how we have been building from the back.
