We need money for new player/s in Jan. Are top assets are Scott - Conway - Semenyou.

Who would you rather lose ?

Anton for sure. He may or may not develop into a great player but for £5 million we could improve the team a lot. He is just too inconsistent and just doesn't seem to learn.

Out of interest, were people expecting Antoine to start every game?  Was always likely to be sub, he’s only made a few sub apps up to now.  Getting on the pitch is good.

Of course we all hoped he get a chance (more than injury time) and burst onto the scene.  He may well yet.

Any suitors will know all about what Antoine can do.  Yes, the World Cup might enhance his reputation, but non-playing won’t harm it. Imho.

Working today and missed the last 20 on 5live as on an appointment. Did he get on?

What's confusing me is all the Rangers links, I mean when it started they didn't even have a manager so I don't get why they keep getting mentioned.

I guess because the manager doesn’t always decide who they sign, or isn’t involved heavily through the process.

Hopefully this link works, wasn't sure if this was a good place or the FFP thread but the good news is him sitting on the bench is at least adding value in one way...

Summary is FIFA pays the club's to borrow their players for the WC something in the region of $10k a day. For a big club with small fry but for someone like us it's possibly $200k+ just for the group stages

Massively held back pre-world cup only to get 20 total minutes of play time…. He best be at it on his return

Alternative version….carrying an injury pre-world cup and only 20 mins play time means he’s likely to return fitter.

Either way….let’s hope for a better second half season ?
