My 2022 was worse than our performance against Lincoln, so to anyone in a similar boat, here's to renewed hope, both at the Gate and beyond.

Very true . I’ve visited plenty of other clubs forums and otib is far and away the best that I’ve come across. Sure there are similarities between views and opinions on their football clubs but as for discussion and debate goes otib is waaay ahead of the others that I’ve seen.

For a team that has been shite for pretty much all of everyone’s lives to have a forum this active is very impressive ??

If we were in the top 6 of the PL this forum would have tumbleweed blowing through it because we would all be so happy. Nothing to discuss.

Personally I’d prefer an edgy, whingey, cynical forum so let’s keep any football success to a minimum please.

Have a feeling, maybe because one needs to start each year with optimism, that NP will finally fire some life into ‘same old City’ and we will be heading upwards to the glory days of AD or even those of Billy Wedlock with great new City.

One wish - a free scoring striker to shoot us up the League.  We have had many of these in the past so not beyond hope. Maybe 2023 will be Conway’s or Bell’s year.
