Betty Swallocks Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 Clever placing that looks good on tv but ridiculous in the ground. Stewards sitting between the boards ruins it as well. Quote

Roe Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 (edited) Looks ridiculous on TV and I'd imagine in the ground too. Surely there are rules on this kind of thing (obviously not). Seems crazy how fast they transition and how distracting they are Edited January 27, 2023 by Roe 1 Quote
Northern Red Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 Fewer seats for them to have to fill... Quote
BCFC Rich Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 I confess I don't watch a lot of top flight football - I had completely forgotten about Rob Holding. Didn't he sign for Arsenal under Wenger? Has he been injured for a long time? Just wondering how often he plays. 1 Quote

Its very rare to actually watch a thrilling game in that league. 3 Quote

I love Alex Scott but the guy always throws himself to the floor. 1 Quote

Then you get the odd game like Arsenal v Man United last week… If I’ve got a spare Saturday and City are away, I always watch the Championship midday kick off over the Prem one on BT. Players, teams fighting to reach the highest level is so much more entertaining and thrilling. 1 Quote
BCFCGav Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 A billion pounds of talent on the pitch just produced one of the worst halves of the season. Cancelling out something awful. 1 Quote

I could have mentioned all footballers cheat, but as the topic was two premier league teams, I left it at that. The WC was so refreshing seeing teams go out and play great football, exciting games. Now I spend more time looking at my phone than the tv, that 45 minutes was sending me to sleep!. 1 Quote
Portland Bill Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 While I’m having a moan!!! Jack Grealish, £100 million. No left foot, little pace, constantly loses the ball. Must rank as the most overhyped footballer I’ve ever watched. 2 Quote

Completely lost his way since chasing the money after leaving Villa Though to his credit he admits this too Quote

I wouldn’t suggest watching the Italian or Spanish leagues,it will end up with you jumping of the suspension bridge if this gets you so angry Quote

The worst I’ve seen was at a Wolves game last season, constant Chinese writing on flashing vivid colours . It was almost impossible to watch the football and I’m sure many complained as it’s not been quite as bad since, I’ve noticed. Whatever happened to just having lettes, A to Z, with the half time scores next to them? 2 Quote
