Bolton was up there with the best away day I’ve ever been too , even though we lost, brilliant times, sadly will never be the same again.

I remember a group of Bolton fans as we made our way to the ground, a couple of police escorting us when all of a sudden a full can of beer comes flying my way.

I had only been at pre season cricket practice the night before so it was an easy catch then crack it open to quench my thirst. Even the coppers were laughing.

Shame about the result and the end of that season as a whole, we only won 2 out of the last 7 once Bob Taylor had got injured.

It was the game when Super Bob scored a volley in front of the away end. Shelton got the first after Wimbleton missed a penalty (hit the post I think).

Thought we'd blown it with the pen, great win, great day.
Remember coming out and seeing loads come over the car park towards us. Our gates opened and our lot came steaming out and they changed their mind.

We were in a Pub across some Railway lines somewhere. Obviously saw a few of us go in, but didn't realise there were more already in there. Came steaming through the door to quickly turn on their toes as everything near to hand hit them.
Funny thing was the Landlady apologised to us after, as we looked at a scene of broken glass and crap by the doors.
Had a quite walk to the ground after that.

They were both nuts and the night game at Swansea at the Vetch was memorable not just for the Taylor hat-trick !!!

Remember the game at the Vetch, before the game the feds(?)told us not to go into the town centre for our own safety, well you can guess the rest….

What time train is best for this one? Coming up from Plymouth, see there’s one that gets in at 0945 or 1021? Never done it by train before, presuming heavy police presence etc

Wasn’t last season tbf (we were not allowed In any pubs tho) we walked out of station and strolled straight to ground. We’re getting 9:19 from taunton

On the way there you can make your own way from the station although there are (Avon and Somerset) officers happy to direct you.

On the way back they walk you to the station in a police cordon and when there split you into Temple Meads and Parkway lines. If you want to go your own way once at the station you can but be aware the schedule may not be the schedule!

I selected the collection option when I bought on last Thursday, does anyone know if I need to  collect from city ticket office or will this be available to collect at Cardiff?

I think any that haven't been collected beforehand will be available to pick up at Cardiff.

Cheers, yes I called the office and it is what you said, they take all uncollected tickets with them for collection at Cardiff, assume that applies to all away games but didn't ask that. I picked mine up from the shop yesterday.
