Think you can draw a fairly obvious conclusion as to why not, when he’s currently fit to play.

on his way out the door I reckon

Flop of the season then.

Weird to sign him, and not do our background research into attitude if that is the case.

I presumed we were to ease him back, give him u21 games but then a proper pre-season to build fitness and challenge our first team squad.

Real shame as was very excited about signing him.

Lots of Wilson conclusions are being jumped into on this thread, it could be totally the opposite.  He had a fairly serious injury and one that will have to be managed for the rest of his career.  He could have any kind of knock from training, heck he could have food poisoning and too weak to play.

It could be, but pretty sure it isn’t the case sadly. Hopefully can be a change in pre season and he fights a way back, ala Vyner

Was gonna say the same.

Even if it is attitude, it could be something you’d never pick up in background checks, because it could be something like psychological reaction to a major injury…which he’s never had before.

FWIW I do think he might leave in the summer.  Just doesn’t need to be anything sinister / negative.  Although he’s played a lot as RB in his young career, it was as a RWB he came to the fore…and we aren’t playing WBs.

So what does that mean ? Is there a promotion at the end of it or a championship trophy , don't know how it works ?

Top 2 in the South and North sections play off with a final to decide on the national champions.

Wilson was unlucky because

1. He got injured.

2. His temporary replacement Sykes did well and kept him out of the team.

3. We signed him for 5-3-2 and then stopped playing 5-3-2.

4. He is now competing against seven other right footed forwards (TC AM SB AW HC NW MS) for the right footed slot on the right of a front three.

Isn't it more a case of bad luck than bad attitude?

2-0 at half time. Nobody really standing out for City so far, Owusu-Antwi is rapid and looks dangerous when he gets on the ball, but has seen very little of it thus far.

Interesting thing of note is we are playing 3-4-1-2. Always thought academy teams mirrored the first teams formation?

4-0 up now, difference in quality really starting to show. Not sure many have been a 'level' above but as a team its been a seriously professional performance.

Very impressed with the City keeper, Casa-Grande. Seems to have everything you need from a modern keeper

Casa-Grande has been playing at Manor Farm level on loan. Has had good reviews.

You can tell hes had experience of mens football. Good command of his box, caught everything that has come in.

Very good on the floor as well, reflexes haven't been tested but looks a good prospect. From tonight, him, Anderson (playing lwb) and Owusu-Antwi (playing rwb) have stood out imo
