Gives us the opportunity to be flexible

Can have this;

                MOL

   Vyner Naismith Pring

Tanner Mccrorie Scott Bryan

 Sykes Conway Mehmeti

Or 433

                   MOL

Tanner Vyner Naismith Pring

   Mccrorie Scott Bryan

    Sykes Conway Mehmeti

Mccrorie can also go RB or Centre half.
Two quality signings

I was thinking a more fluid 4 2 3 1 with Vyner and A N Other/Atkinson when fit.

McCrorie and Naismith in front of the back 4 then any combination you like from Mehmetti, Bryan, Sykes, Bell, Weimann and others in behind Conway/Wells/Cornick.

One things for sure, we will certainly be looking at a strong Bench to utilise.

Probably should wait for his season to finish first. :)

Where does our best midfielder after Scott, Matty James, go?

And Naismith in central defence so he can feed the opposition strikers, which he is prone to do?

Absolutely no point putting Scott in your starting 11 for next season - he won't be here

Got to be Matty James as 1st name on any team sheet

Naismith at cb is a liability good squad option due to versatility but nowhere as good as he thinks is he … set pieces also awful

He was definitely a lot better as a defensive mid, before his 2nd injury. His set pieces have been a real let down. Thought he was meant to be a dead ball specialist. We desperately need someone who deliver a corner and threaten from a free kick.

I can see JB slotting into midfield as can quite a few others such as Naismith, McCrorrie. It depends what role NP feels best suits the team & personnel he puts out on the pitch

We certainly have some strength on the left hand side of the pitch, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Mehmeti used on the right flank very much like NP used Mahrez at Leicester

So many permutations, I just hope we continue with a back 4 as I am not sure we are as effective and attacking playing 352

JB had a very good cross on him, think he’s got it in the locker tbf but apart from his playoff goal for Fulham can’t remember him taking free kicks.

Scored one for us against Sheffield united(?) Last game of a season... probably his last game for us as well. We lost I think.

At CB in a 2 I’d agree that he struggles. Centre or left of a 3 or as a midfielder he’s fine  as lack of pace isn’t so exposed there.

From Stoke media…..one player who doesn’t look like he’ll be joining Stoke City this summer is Fulham full-back Joe Bryan. The Potters were one of several teams to have been linked with the 29-year-old ahead of his contract expiry next month, but it’s now said that he’s set to join Bristol City on a free transfer.

  • The title was changed to Joe Bryan

It’s 18 pages so it’s time for a confirmed signing. I’ve heard from a good ITK source that NP always waits until a thread reaches at least 17 pages before there’s any signing on the dotted line.

A really great guy and an outstanding player. He lost his way recently, but if there is a management team to get him back on song, Nige, Curtis and Jason are it. If he slots in ahead of Pring, then we will have one of the very best, if not the best on the left-side playing option of any team in the Championship.

Would be a great start to recruitment this summer. Joe will not recognise the club he left behind, it is transformed beyond recognition.

Joe Bryan and Cam Pring rotating in and out at LB would be awesome. (I hope).

Need quality depth in this league. So many games and so fixture-dense. At first I thought JB might be a bit unnecessary as we have other areas to strengthen first, but this league is just brutal for fixtures and injuries.
