Dastardly and Muttley
Signing a 1 year deal with Huddersfield… Interesting move. https://twitter.com/matthughesdm/status/1666348599863541761?s=
ScottishRed
I think regardless of any other factors, the bloke really loves the game and despite his age he misses it too much to retire. There is always a danger of tainting your legacy, and he does have one, but I wish him well. Except when they play us obviously. 16

bcfcredandwhite
He must have a cast iron heart and lungs. At his age doing what is one of the most stressful jobs out there is no mean feat. I personally have nothing but respect for the guy. He’s on my (very small) bucket list of football people to have a beer with and a chat about the beautiful game. 9 2
pongo88
This is great news as we can see him in action at Ashton Gate next season. If the match is a bit dull I can just watch his antics on the touch line
cidered abroad
All life on this planet is birth, life and death. It's not a rehearsal for a second chance. Good luck to him and hope his wife has got through the illness that hit her a few years ago.

marcofisher
It doesn’t seem much of a project to me, unless Huddersfield feel they are going to be in trouble again and just need to stabilise financially.

New owner, depending on their FFP position etc...that will be key to how much of a go they can have.
Bristol Oil Services
He's gonna go, like Eric Morecambe, like Tommy Cooper, like Jock Stein (minus the European Cup), on the job. Possibly following another hapless refereeing moment at Ashton Gate.

Simulation is one of the things that is wrong with the modern game. 1

His forte is saving a club that looks doomed to be relegated. The early season results are obvious part of his cunning plan - i.e. let the club sink to the bottom of the table then start a post Christmas revival with salvation on the last day of the season

Lrrr
Happened to be at their game, Huddersfield were absolutely dire, the longer Warnock stays the more they're in trouble, just no real plan with purpose to it. Norwich however looked good.
Mr Popodopolous
2 wins now, vs West Brom away and Rotherham at home albeit not necessarily high fliers. They host Stoke next, another side not doing fantastically. However as per Nixon it could be his swansong..to be replaced by a foreign manager. https://talksport.com/football/efl/1568618/neil-warnock-set-to-resign-huddersfield/

pillred
Calling it a day after their game against Stoke on Weds night as the club wants to make a more long-term appointment, maybe this really will be the last we see of Colin. (Looks like this has been mentioned on another thread so apologies please merge). Edited September 18, 2023 by pillred

Lrrr
He’s not confirmed he’s calling it a day, he had an agreement with Huddersfield if they found someone they wanted to appoint long term they’d tell him and he’d be replaced, it’s not a sacking as it’s the agreement they had. 2
