Popular Post 1960maaan
My first City hero, loved the bloke. Hope the Club make a real effort, he was sold to pay off the Dolman debt , came back and his goals kept us in the old Div 1. Then after 82 still played as a non contract player. Club legend RIP 31
Lanterne Rouge
Gutted. It was Chris and others of his generation that made me a City fan. This hurts as much as when Gerry passed. We all know he hadn`t been in the best of health but it`s still a massive blow. RIP to a true `one of our own`. 9 1

GrahamC
Proper City legend, a South Bristol boy, who played for us for nothing in ‘82 when we were skint & scored a number of vital goals at the back of our very first season up to keep us in the top flight. RIP.

BS15_RED
RIP Chris, I was lucky enough to meet him when he was signing his autobiography in the old club shop. A bona fide City legend not just for being a fantastic player, but also for being one of the Ashton Gate 8 that we all owe so much to. Many won’t know that you had your own fan club ,You were my favourite player before you made the first team , thank you for all the memories especially when we played Rovers, one year at Eastville and beat them 5-0 in the Gloucestershire cup. Port Said Red
He played in the same Bristol Boys side as my older brother, even then everyone knew he was going to make it in football. My brother always talked about him right up to his own passing 6 years ago. 3
