MC RISK77
Signing for Valenciennes in the second tier of French Football, and also where Bajic spent much of last season on loan I believe.

petehinton
Fair play to him, good move & a bit brave of him too that. Probably had enough of playing at every league one ground imaginable twice a year, for different sides
TammyAB
They’ve got a great ground, Valenciennes
BritAbroad
Surprising move to me, but fair play to him for doing it, and good luck.
Marcus Aurelius
Best of luck, had one of the best mentalities I’ve seen down the gate, and at such a young age, shame he didn’t quite have enough ability.
Bristol Rob
No great surprise, and one of the benefits of being bilingual, he won't need as much support settling in as someone who doesn't speak the lingo.
Ziderarmy
He grew up in France so probably wanted to return.
Oh Louie louie
I do feel a bit sorry for him, one minute he was being compared to Bobby Moore, and as far as I can remember within two weeks he was loaned to Southend, talk about mixed messages!
Davefevs
That’s interesting. Fair play to him. I’d heard he was he was close to joining Leyton Orient, whereas it seems he was closer to moving Lorient! The Leyton bit was true btw. 2
Mr Popodopolous
Had he not been loaned out January 2020 could that have helped him? He was best suited to a back 3, part of a back 4 not so much IMO. Good luck to him anyway.

Yes, he joined Lens as a kid and came through their Academy, Valenciennes is just down the road from Lens so he may have brothers, parents in the area. Good luck to him.

For some reason I didn't expect a stadium of that quality at that level. Looks like a mini Stadium of Light. Just a couple of thousand less than the Gate.
Bristol Rob
Sadly, another from the 'useful club to have on your bag' transfer policy we had a few years back. Bit like Engval Whatshisname. 1

bcfc01
Great move for him. I got the impression that the talent was very much there but the aggression wasn't. Hope it works out for him.

Others like Pau, Dunkerque, Rodez are basically National League standard.

Lanterne Rouge
Didn`t LJ (or MA more likely) loan him to Blackpool out of the blue just when he was looking good after he`d had a run in our side?

January 2020? I certainly remember him being sent somewhere. From a medium to high line perspective, Moore-Kalas-Benkovic could have been consistent tactically IMO. Lorenzos Only Goal
He was an odd player he's always seemed to be a prospect but at 26 he should be a regular somewhere now. He's not really developed be that our problem or his I don't know probably both, but I'm not too sad to see him leave. Little bit tongue in cheek but is it just me or did he always look a bit pretty to be a top level defender?
