Educated guess, we’ll be in the middle somewhere ?

Seriously though, I do think we’ll be in the middle as if you park Bedminster side of Winterstoke Rd it’s pretty busy even when the football is on with families taking Tarquin out for a stroll so quite safe but the trading estates over the other side of Winterstoke Rd are pretty quiet and likely to be where any break ins happened. So bang average overall.

I don’t drive to football anymore but when I used to I never had an issue at all.

No surprise with Plymouth. Most park in the humongous free park and ride right outside with all the associated security and cameras. There isn`t a lot of street parking near Home Park and if you don`t use the p&r you`re better off getting the bus.

Can be shite to get out of Home Park when it's a big crowd. Plenty of parking off Outlands Road in PL2.3 .

If you know the area of coarse.?

It is a pain but it`s pretty well organised whenever I`ve been although since we`ve been down here I just get Mrs LR to drop me off and she goes off to Drakes Circus for the afternoon! I get her to pick me up about 5:30 from the other side of Outland Road by the garage and we`re away in no time, up to Roborough and off we go! Chips in Tavistock and job`s a good `un!

Is that looking at all 92 grounds? Seems surprising that 3 of the top 5, and all 5 of the bottom 5 are Championship clubs.

In the Championship we are the nineteenth least safe for car crimes or, put another way, very safe.

Full survey:

The table is not entirely clear, but think it is of the 42 teams in the top two leagues. We are 19th out of 42 so very mid table.

Also worth adding maybe it is vehicle crime reported during the season around the ground, not just during matches. Gives an idea how high this type is in the area I guess.

Without context the list is pretty useless.

Number of vehicle crimes over what period?

Crimes committed on match day or on any day?

Clarified by full article and @cityexile

Thought Liverpool would be on that list!

Most of the cars nicked outside of championship grounds were found parked up around Anfield! :shocking:

Same happened to me, taken from outside the Rising Sun 3:15! At least the bar staff were watching so I knew it was lifted onto a low loader, had to go to somewhere off The Feeder to collect - BASTARDS!

The BCC tkt your car for parking on wasteland on Winterstoke underpass,

In 30 years I've had my car stolen from Winterstoke Road, opposite The Robins when we could park on the road.  Window broke for a glovebox rummage on Raleigh Road and another window broke for someone to have a look through the boot on Bath Street.

A mate of mine had a wheel nicked when parked in Kennel Lodge Road a few years back. I suppose no-one thought anything suspicious was going on - just a bloke with a flat tyre. They did leave the hub up on a couple of bricks though which was kind of them.
