'A Starter for 10' has a lot of Bristol filmed scenes - the former rex/abc in North Street is featured, as is either the uni or Clifton College. Apart from the first x seasons of Casulty, I alsoremember Teachers, Being Human, Afterlife and recently Outlaws, being filmed in Bristol. There was also a miniseries where a body was found in the docks by underfall yard, and another drama series where I think this policewoman son went undercover with a drugs gang. Oh, and Skins! What else has been bristol based/featured? Alex Rider on Amazon has a couple of scenes filmed in Bristol Queen Square and the Harbourside. Inbetweeners 2nd movie starts in/around Bristol and one of the final 2 Harry Potters has a brief moment where the main 3 are near one of the Severn Bridges. Plenty of laughs and familiar faces and filming locations Quality sound track is an added bonus too Does anyone know if there is any relevance to these digits? Seem very similar to be a coincidence, especially how there are specific plates to be used in film and TV On 11/09/2023 at 07:32, Bristol Rob said: I saw it when it was originally a short-film on YouTube a few years back, any ides if it's the same film with a wider release, or if it has been remade? The film was made in 2022 so wouldn't think it was the same version If it was a short film maybe it was an audience tester release?

Usually, 'shorts' are made by those with a near zero-budget who are trying to make a career in the industry. Often using actors who are either slow on work and will perform for zero/minimal pay, but occasionally by actors who want to give something back to the industry that has been kind to them. It's generally a testing ground. A good example here, with Ray Winstone.
chowie
This is the original short film, watched it a few years ago and preferred it to the more recent full film.
