Peter1450
There’d be no outfield players for the second half!
italian dave
Ha ha. Keith Stroud wouldn’t stand for that!! Mind you, the worst was probably that head high challenge in the box, and if I remember correctly we saw a similar one at Ashton Gate last season that went equally unpunished. The Kung Fu kick was ridiculous. It's certainly like watching a completely different sport to nowadays.

First time ever on Saturday I heard a loud boo for a referee when he came out to warm up
candygram for mongo
This game was re-refereed by Michael Oliver (not sure when) he said he would have dished out 11 red cards. it reminded me of playing local football in the 70’s & 80’s

Lanterne Rouge
I often wonder whether the likes of Billy Bremner, Johnny Giles, Ron Harris, Peter Storey, Dave Mackay and our own Sir Gerry would have even made it as pros in today`s game. They would no doubt have had the over-aggressive side of their game coached out of them and would they have made it without that? Bremner would probably have been told he was too small and to find another club. Different times, different game.

Chopper Harris is hardly the image of someone carrying the ball out with grace and relying mainly on pressing and or interceptions. Vs Watford wasn't it, penalty on Wells .

Player would then stamp his foot to the ground and off we'd go again.
