Never been in the Heineken lounge before, was just wondering from people that have is it worth the £90 and what is included in that price? Thank you 👍

Its excellent, done it many times.

You get a bottle of Heineken on arrival along with table for the afternoon.

You then get your lunch, usually buffet style, but its good.

A match day programme.

Paul Cheesley is your host and there is always some current and old City players about for pictures and a chat

Shown to your seat at 2-45

Half time some food on your table.

After the game bar open to around 6pm.

You will enjoy it.

I’d say it’s worth it.  I think others have highlighted the reasons why, but in terms of price - £90 seems high, but it’s worth considering that it includes a match ticket so your not just paying for the access to the lounge I guess.

Which I find slight strange, aside from taking friends who don't have season tickets, the real cost to a season ticket holder is 90 quid, plus whatever you have already paid for your regular ticket (unless they deduct that from the cost).

Can anyone confirm if a match day programme is still included seeing that the club no longer produce one?

It's good but not worth £90

That is the part that has always put me off

Don't season ticket holders get a reduction for their ticket?

It seems to vary wether you get a reduction as a season card holder, sometimes I have sometimes not.

They do have offers from time to time, most Black Fridays they have an offer to buy  for any upcoming match and that’s usually a good deal.

It might be worth waiting to see if they do any deals. I have been in January a couple of times, it can be 20/25% cheaper, especially if we have a couple of home games in a row or draw a smaller club in the cup.

Yes a cup game, as long as it’s not a top team, is a good opportunity to try out the Lansdown hospitality which is quite a bit better than the Heineken lounge.

How much more?

Well for a normal match day there’s a few options starting at about £132 and going to over £200 depending how many courses, or if you want private tables etc but for a cup match I’ve been in before for about £60.

It really is nice in there plus you get a very nice seat near the halfway line, whereas the HL you get a seat in the corner of the SS and LS, I’d prefer to be in my own seat than there.

It’s decent. Your spit and saw dust lounge up to the Lansdown suite, which is still considerably better than many other lower league hospitality venues. Not worth £90. Typically paid between £60-£70 on the few occasions I’ve used it. Usually get booted out after a pint following the final whistle.

Season ticket holders in our group have typically got a discount.

I think they tend to assume you will pass your ST onto someone else maybe?

I've done it a couple of times when it's been on offer, around £50-60 and can justify it as a nice treat to myself. It's an enjoyable experience, personally I wouldn't pay £90 for it though.

2nd note, nobody will force you to drink Heineken, thatchers is also available.

We also swopped our complimentary bottle of Heineken for a soft drink at the bar for our designated driver😀

My diesel isn’t worth £1.65 a litre , train fares all round the country arnt worth the price , pickled eggs at Asda £2.59 for a jar  , I’m afraid it’s the world we live in 🤷.   As for the Heineken lounge usually a good day spoilt by the result
