Uwe Rosler springs to mind - at Aarhus (AGF) in Denmark. For me this would be firing up the Quattro and going back to 2016. Big fan of Rosler then.

ollywhyte
I wonder if someone like Lee Carsley May be in the frame? A name I did see lower in the list on skybet. I must say I have watched none of the England U21s but I do know he has had success including winning the Euros recently. A quick search suggests he plays in quite a progressive style, almost Spanish like. See also Gordon at Newcastle said he’s the best man manager he’s ever seen. We’ve gone for England staff in the past… we have quite an emphasis on academy and progression. Someone will know more about him? Any good or one to avoid?

BS4 on Tour...
Yep - go with the young progressive, inexperienced manager, the one who knows all the trendy modern ‘go ahead’ football terms like ‘introverted full backs’ and ‘false number 9’ - he or she will be the one to bring us success??!! Or we could just go with a proven, experienced, knowledgeable, gnarly, successful guy and say ‘bollox to the woke brigade nonsense’ - a proper football man who will get us to the place we want to go - Neil Warnock ... 4 1

What a presumptuous and ill considered response! My laughing emoji relates entirely to SL's reaction to whenever Warnock's been mentioned to him in fans forums. He's about the last person (along with Hollowhead) that SL would let anywhere near the club. Let's be honest, with their track record of appointments anything is possible but appointing someone who would've taken us to the PL when we should've appointed him is about as laughable as it gets.

JP Hampton
Well there’s one thing for sure, whatever you or I think or feel about the potential appointments being mooted on the forum, it doesn’t matter one jot. We’ll get what we’re given and will have no more say than that. I have no idea who’d be a good fit for the club, some managers do well at certain clubs, despite fans thinking otherwise. If a manager/head coach does well at one club, doesn’t mean they’ll work in the same way at another. Given all the variables, personnel, financial, the culture, the players etc. there’s no real way to know until they’re here and doing the job. So let’s hope everything clicks whoever it is 1

Not a bad shout - the club were crowing about " England Coaches" when we appointed Simpson and Downing - and they would regard him as "exciting" being current England u21 boss. He wouldn't be my choice btw.
