BS3City
I thought he did quite well, but would like him to attack the space in front of him a bit more...

Primarily looks to either travel or pass with attacking intent. Much prefer his style of play to James. Frustrates me at times that whilst James rarely concedes possession he has virtually no intention of getting on the turn and working the ball forwards.

Very safe and conservative style of play. 2

I see what you mean. I can see TGH replacing James. As you say he’s a bit more dynamic and athletic but maybe lacks a bit of nous or calmness on the ball which will come with experience.

Im much more happier when he’s in the team
eardun
I like him too. Playing a big role already - a lot was going through him today and of course he takes the dead balls too. Did well to get him and he will only get better.

formerly known as ivan
Played well. I think if they are to make his move permanent they need to focus on him nailing down a position, most likely in midfield. None of this Jack of all trades rubbish. bcfc01
He had a good game, best I've seen from him. Looks very promising. Thought all three of Knight, James and him were good today.
Padlad
Has good feet, a shot on him and good set pieces - hope we make him permanent.

Port Said Red
Great tracking back when Dickie was left one on one in the first half.
Jerseybean
Mentioned his excellent shift in the match thread, oddly the local paper only rated him a six!
1960maaan
Thought him and Knight were great last week, really seems to be growing into the role. Thought he gave away possession too often previously, but really has improved with games.

Bristol Rob
Or, Gardener-Haskins, as those who once listened to local radio call him Everything for your home and more....
Gazred
With a deal in place I hope the new manager likes him. He's got better the more mins he's got and looks very natural in CM.

Marina's Rolls Royce
I guess all of the anti Tinnion brigade that appeared out of nowhere in the last week will see TGH as solely an NP signing along with Knight whilst the home grown are as being solely as a result of NP playing them. These players are really good imo and are at the club as a result of both BT & NP + team not one or the other. Both these players are really growing in the team and as part of the team so well done to all- we just need several more of the same potential which involves the nest egg and someone who can pick up where NP left off as SC did after SO'D. 1
UncleRed
Saw somewhere that when Steve Bruce was at WBA, he said TGH would end up playing RB as that’s his best position. From that moment I knew he would be a good young midfielder…
Davefevs
Good player imho…just 21 too. Really hope we tie him down to a perm deal in January. Him and Knight are part of the future energetic midfield. Think he’s still getting up to speed too, more to come.
GrahamC
Very annoyed TC took that free kick away from him on the edge of their box. Never thought he would score, reckon TGH might have done so.

Get it sorted and let the kid know where he stands. First few games/cameos I wasn't sure, but he's really starting to show his potential .

It’s something we severely lack - someone who is capable of scoring from a free kick - is Tomlin the last one??

If he sees West Brom as better for his career he might want to stay and fight for his place there. I believe they are only trying to sell him due to their own financial pressures, so they’re not selling him due to lack of ability
