I remember thinking the same when he was here on loan as a player.

Any manager that gives Jay Dasilva a 4 year contract deserves to be sacked.

See their fans have worked him out quite quickly. Tidy on ball but no end product at all. A nice lad and I thought there was a player there but so poor when getting in decent positions to cross.

Not sure he was the “same” player after injury.  Very much the case with O’Dowda also, although it could also be that LJ coached the flair out of them.

Yes agree. Always felt he and O’Dowda were never quite the same after injury. Pretty common and understandable too.

He was never really able to re-reach the heights of that last minute assist for Eliasson against Brentford way back when.

Whilst I agree and never rated Jay as a defender as to small, he joined them on a free so giving a longer contract in effect has not cost them, compared to having to pay a transfer fee. Still would not want him any more than a back up.
