And then been frequently injured. Which he has been, thankfully for others.

We've had quite enough high wage earners making little contribution over the last few years and are only just recovering.

He would have been yet another one and therefore a terrible signing, irrespective of his talent when fit.

Also worth pointing out, because some people think we are the only club that does this, he cost Derby £8m, he then started 44 games in 4 seasons & **** knows what wages he was on.

The bloke is incredibly injury prone, has been on telephone numbers & would have been a disastrous signing.

Annoyed with the Cardiff and Watford turn arounds in looking to finish as high as possible

Back down to 12th

Yeah, draws in both of those would have been nice as would Baggies getting something at Boro but c`est la vie. Birmingham likely to be without Bielik and Buchanan for our game though so not all bad news.

His injuries that happened may not have happened had he been with us though, everything would be different from that point.

Not the case, but hypothetical to make the point. If one of those injuries was from a particularly bad challenge against, say, Forest. He'd not have been in that match for Derby, so that injury doesn't happen.

It's really not possible to say x would have been injured for us too had he joined.

WBA losing keeps the other playoff spot more open.

Position right now is less relevant if it keeps more options for us to chase.

Yeah I knew you'd say that.

Arsenal loaned him to Birmingham in Jan 2017, so 7 years ago next month.

He's played 70 something games in that time.

10 games a year.

That's what he's managed, whoever he's played for, whatever the circumstances. 10 games on average.

You'd have to be a world champion optimist to believe it would've been any different playing for us. Especially us.

I agree though, a good player on his day.

People acted as if Bournemouth was a sideways step for Alex & antoine….now level on points with Chelsea.

Appears the case we have a clause that we get more cash if they stay up?

Looks almost certain already.

Watford and Blackburn both seem like unpredictable sides- especially Watford.

Talent for sure but have their vulnerabilities, been climbing the table for a while now though- could be an interesting one Boxing Day.

Certainly seem to have been very clinical without being outstandingly good all game.

Blackburn and Preston have certainly had their chances against us but our keeper has played well as and I say we have taken ours .

We do like to play the ball around the back which can be a bit nerve wracking!

Nice to have a team who are able to fight back in games and keep going till the end .

Just seen the forest sending off... if you haven't seen it have a look... mind boggling.

It's not even a tackle really he gets there way before the other guy who then treads on his ankle...😂😂

Probably goes down as the worst single decision of the season. Ref should be given Totterdown United Reserves next week (unfortunately for them).
